Are You Ready, Set, to Go?

This week the Los Angeles Fire Department did an incredible job keeping our city safe. However, fire season is just getting started so everyone needs to be ready for the next one. Make sure you're signed up to receive alerts from NotifyLA and from the LAFD. Ready, Set, Go is an important program that is designed to keep you and your family safe. Some key things to remember:

  • Remove brush for a minimum of 100 feet around your home

  • Assemble emergency supplies and prepare a list of things to take with you if you need to evacuate

  • Plan your escape routes, and know at least two different ways out of your neighborhood

  • Back your vehicle into your driveway with the hood facing the street. Roll up the windows and load your vehicle

  • If you're under evacuation orders - leave immediately!
