StreetLA Installing Vote by Mail Boxes at Locations Citywide for Nov 3 General Election
To ensure registered voters in Los Angeles County have a safe and convenient option to cast their ballot in the Presidential General Election, StreetsLA is installing 77 Vote by Mail Drop Boxes outside City public libraries and City recreation facilities. The Board of Public Works Commission voted last Friday to authorize and move forward with the installations.
StreetsLA is working with Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, who reached out to StreetsLA for assistance on this request.
There will be 72 drop boxes installed outside City public libraries and five outside of Recreation and Parks facilities and 46 drop boxes placed by Recreation and Parks in their properties for a total of 123 citywide. The boxes will be easily accessible and conveniently located for voters to drop off their ballot.
