February 22nd - March 3
LA County is implementing a redesigned voting system that includes an entirely new Ballot Marking Device, which you will print your paper ballot from (unless you vote by mail). It's easy to use, but it's different. Here are some things to know:
Traditional neighborhood polling places will be replaced by Vote Centers, and you can now vote at any location in LA County. Find a Vote Center here: locator.lavote.net
You can vote up to 10 days before Election Day.
Same day registration is no problem with new e-pollbooks, which will be used to verify registration eligibility of any County voter in real time.
The new Ballot Marking Devices provide the benefits of technology, but they are not connected through the internet and will print your paper ballot upon completion for the security and integrity of the election.
An Interactive Sample Ballot is available as a convenient way to speed up the voting experience by allowing you to pre-mark your selections at isb.lavote.net and scan the QR-code on your poll pass at a Vote Center to upload your selections.
